Building a social network site with Visual Studio 2008/ruby on rails?
I was curious whether it was possible, a site for social networking on the Visual Studio 2008 platform easier than Ruby on Rails? Amazon I have a book tutorial on how you go through building social networking website with Ruby, but I Harbor was a Visual Studio equivalent. Thank you.
VS 2008 is not a platform, it is an IDE. ASP.NET is the "platform" (although the term you are looking for "Framework"). In any case, that's all semantics ... Rails is always use a solid framework, even though they, like one. NET developers, there are always have something to say, you use the VS IDE. Drag-and-drop design and programming to make your life a little easier. But the task of creating a decent Social-networking site is not taken lightly. If you have any programming experience, you really get way ahead of you. If you do, you do so would be to , which is dependent on the experience. When used with PHP or C + +, Rails will not get too much in too. If your programming experience in Visual Basic is limited, They should stick with ASP.NET. Even if you're only good with C #, ASP.NET will of course be much more. No programming experience, you are biting off more than you digest can. If you find a tutorial that will go through step by step, you go with that ... it is not every book, as for ASP.NET, however, you mean will have to learn how to do it ... that is, you need to know how to program and how to integrate with a database, and how to design a database ... etc etc, use ...
